Question 1

What is CP Sports and where are you based?

Accepted Answer

CP Sports is a sports infrastructure construction company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We design, build and deliver professional-grade sports facilities — football turfs, cricket pitches, pickleball courts, running tracks, basketball and tennis courts, and multi-sport complexes — across the entire state.

Question 2

How many projects has CP Sports completed?

Accepted Answer

We have completed 20+ sports infrastructure projects across Tamil Nadu, serving schools, academies, residential complexes, commercial venues and government bodies.

Question 3

Which regions do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We operate pan-Tamil Nadu — including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Thanjavur, Erode, Hosur and beyond. We also undertake site visits and free consultations anywhere in the state.

Question 4

Does CP Sports only build turfs, or do you build all types of sports facilities?

Accepted Answer

We build everything: football turfs, cricket pitches and nets, basketball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, pickleball courts, running tracks, multipurpose courts and playgrounds. If it's a sport, we build its infrastructure.

Question 5

How much does a football turf cost in Tamil Nadu?

Accepted Answer

A standard 5-a-side football turf (approx. 3,500–4,500 sq.ft) works out to roughly ₹13L–₹24L on our calculator (₹420 per sq.ft, shown as a 0.9×–1.25× range, GST included). The final figure depends on the FIFA-grade turf quality, lighting requirements, fencing and site civil work. Use our Cost Calculator for an instant personalised estimate.

Question 6

What is included in your quoted price?

Accepted Answer

Our quotations typically cover civil and base work, synthetic surface supply and installation, LED floodlighting, perimeter fencing and ball-stop nets, and project management. Add-ons like seating, scoreboards and drainage upgrades are quoted separately.

Question 7

Do you offer flexible payment terms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We structure milestone-based payment plans — typically 30% on contract signing, 40% at structural stage, and 30% on handover. Terms are discussed during the consultation.

Question 8

Can I get a cost estimate without committing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Use our free Cost Calculator for an instant ballpark figure, or contact us for a free on-site survey and detailed quotation — no obligations.

Question 9

What turf standards do you use for football turfs?

Accepted Answer

We use FIFA-Quality Pro and FIFA Quality certified synthetic turf from internationally accredited manufacturers. The fibre is UVA-resistant and heavy-metal-free, combined with silica and rubber infill for optimal ball roll and player safety.

Question 10

What is the multi-layer system under a synthetic turf?

Accepted Answer

Our standard build uses four layers: (1) Monofilament synthetic fibre — the playing surface; (2) Silica and rubber infill — regulates temperature and ball mechanics; (3) Shock-absorbing pad — reduces joint stress; (4) Macadam sub-base — engineered porous asphalt for complete water drainage.

Question 11

How long does a synthetic football turf last?

Accepted Answer

A well-maintained synthetic turf lasts 8–12 years. With an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), performance and lifespan are significantly extended through regular brushing, infill top-ups and inspections.

Question 12

Do you build box cricket facilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We build box cricket setups with proper synthetic pitch strips, high-grade nets, LED lighting and spectator seating — ideal for commercial cricket venues.

Question 13

Why is pickleball a good investment right now?

Accepted Answer

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in India. The courts require less land than tennis, have lower construction costs, and attract a broad age demographic — making them high-yield assets for sports facility owners.

Question 14

What surface do you use for pickleball courts?

Accepted Answer

We use premium multi-layer acrylic cushion surfaces engineered for joint protection, consistent ball bounce, and anti-glare properties. Courts are laid with North-South orientation and precise Aqua drainage systems.

Question 15

Can pickleball courts be integrated into an existing sports complex?

Accepted Answer

Yes — pickleball courts are compact (20x44 ft per court) and can be integrated into existing facilities alongside football turfs, basketball courts or any other infrastructure we've built.

Question 16

How long does it take to build a football turf?

Accepted Answer

A standard football turf takes 25–45 working days from site readiness to handover, depending on the scope of civil work, weather conditions and surface type.

Question 17

What does your construction process look like?

Accepted Answer

Our process has four stages: (1) Consult & Survey — site inspection, feasibility study, topographical analysis; (2) Design — CAD blueprints for drainage, lighting, surface layers; (3) Build — civil work, surface installation, lighting and fencing; (4) Handover & Maintain — quality inspection, training and AMC setup.

Question 18

Do you handle all civil work, or do we need separate contractors?

Accepted Answer

We are a full end-to-end contractor. We handle all civil and base work, surface installation, LED lighting, fencing, drainage and safety systems under one contract — one team, zero coordination headaches for you.

Question 19

What site preparation is required before you start?

Accepted Answer

We conduct a free site survey to assess soil conditions, drainage, levelling and access. Our team will advise on any preparatory work needed. We can handle site prep as part of our scope if required.

Question 20

What warranty do you offer on completed facilities?

Accepted Answer

We provide a structural warranty on civil and base work, and a manufacturer-backed warranty on synthetic surfaces (typically 5–8 years depending on the product). LED lighting carries a 3–5 year warranty.

Question 21

Do you offer Annual Maintenance Contracts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our AMC covers regular brushing, infill top-ups, surface inspection, minor repairs and priority response. An AMC significantly extends the lifespan of your facility and protects your investment.

Question 22

What happens if there is a problem after handover?

Accepted Answer

We have a dedicated after-sales team. Any structural or surface issue reported within the warranty period is attended to at no charge. For AMC clients, we provide scheduled maintenance visits and priority support.

Question 23

What is the FOCO model?

Accepted Answer

FOCO stands for Franchise Owned, Company Operated. You own the land and the infrastructure; CP Sports manages 100% of the daily operations — booking management, coaching programmes, tournament organising, maintenance and marketing. You receive monthly revenue sharing with transparent reporting.

Question 24

Who is the FOCO model suited for?

Accepted Answer

It is ideal for land owners, investors and property developers who want to monetise unused land through a sports facility without taking on the operational complexity of running it day-to-day.

Question 25

How quickly can a sports facility break even?

Accepted Answer

A well-positioned commercial football turf or multi-sport complex in an urban Tamil Nadu location typically breaks even within 18–36 months with healthy occupancy. We provide feasibility studies and ROI projections during the consultation phase.

Question 26

Can CP Sports help me run my sports facility after it is built?

Accepted Answer

Yes — beyond our AMC offering, our FOCO partnership model means we take on full operational responsibility. Contact us to discuss which model suits your goals and investment size.
